DP World in India is leading Port Operator as well as Logistics Operator. About the role As Finance Manager - Business Unit, this position will be a key role in managing the Core Finance Function of a BU to become a key business partner to Senior Management and a right hand for the BU CFO. With day to day processes migrated to Back Office, this role requires focus on Strategic Financial Management of Business Unit and demands dual qualities of a good Business Partner as well as Expert level knowledge of Finance functioning. Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Creating, implementing and monitoring processes and procedures around the creation of monthly forecasts. Preparing periodic financial statements, including profit and loss accounts, budgets, cash flows, variance analysis and commentaries Ensure that accounting & payments to suppliers in time, reconciliation of bank and ledger accounts, reconciliation of inventory, and establishing effective control over collection from customers. Ensure that Internal & External audit requirements are met and proper validation of accounts & prepare monthly variance report. Comply the requirements of Head office for the purpose of Corporate consolidation of budgets and accounts. Manage short and long-term budget process for valuation and business analysis purposes. Monitor levels of funding and prepare cash flow projections as required especially project financing. Manage all Capital Expenditure and Authority for Expenditure (AFEs) requests prior to approval from management and senior executives. Manage the Dubai AFE process to ensure timely approvals. Monitor the capital spend against budget and keep up to date with the business units on changes in spending patterns. Develop project analysis and business cases to support investment decisions. Preparation of Annual Budgets and Cash flow forecasts. To ensure all tax compliances and timely filing of the Quarterly/ Annual statutory return relating to taxes. Attend to the tax assessments/litigations and statutory authorities in connection with taxation issues as and when required Ensure proper internal controls and strict compliance with all Internal SOP\'s. Interact with SEZ, Port Trust and other external stakeholders as per requirement. Interact with Customers and Vendors as required Liaise with Operation, Maintenance, stores, IT and Human Resource Department to exercise effective accounting, financial & budgetary controls. Monitor financial authorities\' limits and undertake administration-related functions coming under Finance Department. Ensure that all MIS reports are submitted with accuracy as per the deadline. Prepare Board Meeting and AFR Meeting material and reports. About the Candidate : Good Communication skills in English language, both oral and written. Qualified Chartered Accountant with 8 to 10 years of experience. Prior experience in Finance Department of an MNC preferable. Excellent command in MS Excel spread-sheet, Oracle Fusion or any other ERP.
