  • Acquire an in-depth understanding of the FTP & Big Data platform.
  • Analyze Business requirements and prepare adequate Test Strategy & Plan document, Test Scenarios, Test Conditions & Scripts.
  • Lead discussions with appropriate stakeholders to ensure business requirements are understood, documented and progressed via appropriate channels for solution.
  • Understand statutory and regulatory requirements for data purposes and systems
  • Understand changes in accounting policy and accounting flow and analyse the impacts from system perspective
  • Perform testing analysis to ensure that all business requirements are met and suitable test processes are in place to verify and validate them.
  • Act as a Process change SME in terms of designing \xe2\x80\x9cto-be\xe2\x80\x9d process models
  • Execute test scripts with proper entry and exit criteria and report the actual results/ defects ensure a quality product.
  • Leverage, maintain and administer defect management tools in an efficient and effective manner.
  • Lead testing evidence walkthrough sessions with respective stakeholders and obtain sign-off.
Requirements
  • Commerce Graduate / Post Graduate with Finance / Accounting background and requisite experience.
  • Must have worked on Finance System Implementation Projects
  • Knowledge of system / process testing and defect management tools (Quality Center / JIRA)
  • Understanding the project lifecycle, Business Transformation Frameworks, methodologies and best practice techniques are required for the Project aspect of the Role.
  • Experience of working within at least two of the following areas: Programme Support, Functional Testing analysis / execution, process automation, business and / or system process analysis within Finance and / or Controllers department(s)
  • Must have Data Testing Experience reconciling data between data flows.
