Department Profile

The Fixed Income Division is comprised of Interest Rate and Currency Products, Credit Products and Distribution. Professionals in the Division assess and actively manage risk, trade securities, and structure as well as execute innovative transactions in the fast-paced and constantly changing global markets. The Commodities Division is a market leader in energy, metals, and agricultural product trading worldwide whose professional's trade in both physical and derivative commodity risk.



Background on the Team
The FID Interdepartmental Strategies team works with the onshore team to implement tools, automation and business reporting solutions aiming to enhance business' ability to manage key performance indicators, resources, etc.

This role will require the candidate to partner within various verticals of FID Strats/ desks and technology partners to ensure Fixed Income solutions are aligned with the overall Firm's risk management and technology strategy.



Primary Responsibilities
• Implement tools to analyze analytical difference between libraries and to highlight reference data issues.


• Development of automation frameworks for various analytical tools.


• Execution of automated flows and BAU maintenance of applications.


• Implement controls and processes around manual execution touchpoints within FID department


• User Interface development for tools


• Service connectivity with both internal APIs and external APIs like Bloomberg



QUALIFICATIONS


Key Skills and Experience
• Strong coding skills in .Net Core C#, and Python


• UI development experience Windows Presentation Foundation, Infragistics (or other UI tooling)
• Service development experience using WCF or Python


• Experience in automation using UIPath or other RPA technologies


• Experience with SQL/ any RDBMS


• Proven interest in finance and financial instruments


• Knowledge of financial mathematics is preferred


• Strong communication skills


• Attention to detail and the ability to work thoughtfully and independently and manage multiple projects
