  • Review all new projects and modifications, and provide inputs to eliminate exposure and ergonomic risk.
  • Advise and collaborate with management to resolve occupational health issues.
  • Create and execute studies to monitor and assess employees' exposure to health risks, and to measure the effectiveness of occupational health programs, policies, and procedures.
  • Overseeing biological monitoring programs.
  • Assess and analyze research data, summarizing statistics, and compile reports.
  • Propose and lead the implementation of programs to protect employee health, and including ergonomics.
  • Ensure employee awareness of occupational health and safety concerns, programs, and regulations.
  • Investigate incidents, occupational health trends, prepare investigation reports, and implement corrective action to avoid the recurrence.
  • Lead audits and inspections in the area of Occupational Health Center and Industrial Hygiene. Ensuring compliance all the time.
  • Prepare the Safety / Hygiene / Occupational Health Reports as per defined formats.
  • Prepare, update and document the standard operating procedures (SOP) related to safety department.
  • Follow up with CFT department regarding implementation internal, external industrial hygiene and occupational health related recommendations.
  • Maintain the inventory of industrial hygiene and occupational health equipment.
  • Inspect installed industrial hygiene equipment across different plants.
Your experience and qualifications
  • B.Tech/B.E in Chemical Engineering/ M.Sc. Chemistry + Diploma/Certification in Industrial Hygiene.
  • 12-15 Years of relevant experience
  • Good understanding of API manufacturing process, Regulatory requirements and Process safety elements.
