Job Description


The Manager role is an integral part of the e-commerce organization and is responsible for leading a team of E-commerce Delivery Management Professionals This team plays a crucial role in defining and executing e-commerce Delivery projects, leveraging Sabre e-commerce Products and solutions The scope of their responsibilities encompasses various key activities, including data collection, implementation, solution evaluations, reporting, and customer training Furthermore, the team is tasked with analyzing requirements to address complex business challenges by harnessing a range of technologies and systems Collaborating closely with internal stakeholders, such as software engineering teams, product owners, finance, and account management, is also a core aspect of this role Responsibilities: Lead and inspire a team of E-commerce Delivery Management Professionals to excel in their roles, ensuring they are well-equipped to achieve project goals and client satisfaction. Define the scope and objectives of e-commerce Delivery projects, and oversee their successful execution. This includes leveraging Sabre e-commerce Products and solutions to meet client requirements. Oversee the collection and analysis of data relevant to e-commerce projects. Utilize this data to inform decision-making and project optimizations. Collaborate with the team to evaluate and recommend e-commerce solutions, ensuring that they align with the organizations goals and meet client needs. Ensure the accurate and timely reporting of project progress and outcomes to stakeholders, enabling data-driven decisions and transparency in project management. Utilize various technologies and systems to address complex business problems and drive innovative solutions. Foster strong partnerships and collaboration with internal stakeholders, including software engineering teams, product owners, finance, and account management, to ensure project success. Contribute to projects with a global reach and being part of one of the world s largest Travel and Hospitality technology companies Must Have Skills: +5 years of experience working in a similar role (Delivery Management, Product Management or Software Engineering) In-depth knowledge of airline e-commerce operations, distribution, and trends. Understanding of airline business models and customer requirements is crucial. Proficiency in the technical aspects of e-commerce ecosystems, including familiarity with booking engines, payment gateways, reservation systems, and data exchange protocols used in the airline industry. Proven leadership experience in managing technical teams, setting objectives, and ensuring the successful delivery of software products. Strong project management skills with a track record of delivering complex software projects on time and within budget. Familiarity with quality assurance processes, including testing methodologies and ensuring the reliability of software products. Excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and clients. Nice To Have Skills: Previous experience of Sabre and/or Radixx e-commerce products. Understanding of programming concepts and languages, which can facilitate effective communication with the development team. Familiarity with Agile and Scrum practices to facilitate agile project management and development processes. Knowledge of data analytics and the ability to derive insights from e-commerce data for business optimization. Awareness of user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design principles to ensure a user-friendly e-commerce platform. Understanding of cybersecurity and data protection to safeguard sensitive customer information
