Johnson & Johnson is currently seeking a Manager, Data Science Solutions Management & Pipeline to join our Data Science and Digital Health function Innovative Medicine Research & Development located in Hyderabad/ Bangalore, India. Learn more atIn this role, the candidate will lead a solution-oriented team with a diverse set of talents. This team is designed to work cross-functionally, partnering with persons / groups not limited to J&J IM scientists, technology, finance, security, privacy, compliance, procurement and legal to enable solutions and processes that drive decision making.With a focus on enabling data science solutions, integrating solutions into business processes and curating / analyzing / transforming data, this team needs to be able to architect, engineer and deploy solutions for / across the R&D DSDH community. Consideration should also be given to user engagement, training and long-term cost-benefit analysis.Responsibilities:

• Recruit, develop and retain talent
• Provide direction, mentorship, and coaching to a team of data analysts, data managers, data curators and visualization specialists, fostering an environment of collaboration, innovation, and professional growth
• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring that data products and solutions meet their needs while also advancing organizational goals.
• Apply the knowledge of pharmaceutical R&D processes to develop innovative solutions and products
• Ability to lead the team to develop and implement high quality data products, analysis ready data sets and apply human centered design to turn data into insights.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather user requirements and understand business needs.
• Design and implement processes that streamline data decision making.
• Design wireframes taking a user-centric approach to build intuitive products and iterate quickly to land on an efficient design.
• Review data products with stakeholders to ensure accuracy and alignment with the desired outcomes
• Incorporate feedback and suggest improvements to enhance the usability and effectiveness of solutions.
• Manage multiple priorities simultaneously and consistently deliver high-quality work within established timelines.
• Set clear expectations with stakeholders regarding deliverables and project timelines.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest data management and analysis techniques and industry trends.
• Proactively identify opportunities to leverage data visualizations for improved decision-making.

QualificationsEducation:A minimum of a Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree is required with 6 - 8 years of experience working in pharmaceutical, healthcare or relevant industry. Additional consideration given to applicants with advanced degrees.Requirements:

• Knowledge and experience with pharmaceutical R&D, clinical development and / or data operations
• Prior experience in working with clinical trial, real world (electronic health records, claims, survey), translational and / or digital health data required.
• Experience with SQL, R, Python, and/or other programming languages
• Experience leading global teams
• Comfortable working with stakeholders to gather user requirements and incorporate feedback.
• Capable of focusing and prioritizing tasks across multiple stakeholder groups
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to ensure accuracy in data visualizations.

Preferred:

• Comfortable learning new technologies
• Experience working within cloud-based service offerings
• Familiarity with Natural Language Processing (NLP) techniques, Large Language Model (LLM) applications, and generative AI technologies
