Together, we are building a better world, so we can all enjoy living in it.Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Manager Digital Project (Finance Transformation manager- Record-to-Report who will have the opportunity to champion our Global Financial services Division. As an integral part of the Continuous Improvement (CI) Center of Excellence, specifically focused on standardization, optimization and digitalization, the candidate will support the execution of our continuous improvement framework within the Global Business Services scope, with focus, but not exclusively, on the Record to Report processes (RTR). Knowledge and/or experience in Record to Report processes is required: month-end cycles, intercompany transactions, US GAAP reporting, fixed assets and inventory accounting.The preference for this role is to be based out of Bangalore, KA-IndiaWhat you will do:Job Roles and Responsibilities

  • Drive continuous improvement activities including mapping current and future process maps, driving corrective actions, and developing, tracking, and measuring qualitative and quantitative results.
  • Drive a culture of innovation, simplification and continuous improvement through best practice sharing, advocacy, and hands-on leadership.
  • Partner with senior leadership, understand business goals, analyze opportunities, and develop improvement plans for various workflows/systems and technologies.
  • Build roadmaps that support the tactical execution of key continuous improvement initiatives across stakeholder teams.
  • Ensure consistent application of continuous improvement tools, methodologies, and best practices to accelerate improvements at scale.
  • Identifies and engage subject matter experts in support of multi-functional efforts in continuous improvement.
Candidates will have:
  • Preferred previous consultancy experience (3-5 years)/overall experience 10 to 15 years
  • Knowledge of best practices in GL accounting, period end close (fast/smart close), fixed assets, consolidation and intercompany.
  • Experience in treasury and tax compliance and reporting is beneficial.

  • People leadership/management experience
  • Diagnostic capabilities to identify improvement opportunities
  • Ability to work effectively across a matrix environment and navigate without a formal authority to deliver on business results
  • MSc/MBA in a scientific or business discipline
  • Accounting certification or an equivalent combination of related experience
  • Experience with SAP ECC and S/4HANA and experience with account reconciliation and journal entry automation tools such as Blackline is beneficial.
