Role Name: Manager, DevOps Lead. Location of Requirement: Hyderabad Desired Experience Range: 6 years to 12 Years Role Profile .In this role, you\'ll be joining our CRM, External Digital and Marketing team within Corporate Technology (CT) as a Manager, DevOps Lead. .LSEG is embarking on an ambitious journey to build a best-in-class Salesforce DevOps capability, investing in our people, processes, and products to enable our growing change portfolio to be delivered using modern ways of working. To support this ambition, you will be responsible for leading the day-to-day Salesforce DevOps efforts, supported by a team of DevOps Engineers, as we deliver a large portfolio of complex change while also transforming our organisation to one that is engineering led. You will be considered an expert partner to our delivery teams, using that partnership to further gain knowledge and contribute to our ongoing improvement and automation efforts. Tech Profile/Essential Skills .Expert knowledge of Copado deployment tool with extensive hands on experience in both coordinating and deploying changes. .5 years of experience in Salesforce Devops & Release Management. .Salesforce administration experience. .Excellent understanding of sandbox strategy, git concepts, release strategy branching strategy, and release pipelines. .Good understanding of DevOps standards, processes, and industry toolchain trends. .Experience with Salesforce platform production deployments working in an agile delivery environment. .Knowledge of Salesforce platform and solution components, with hands-on experience in error handling (Apex, Batches, Flows) and troubleshooting deployment and implementation issues. .Understanding of Salesforce imple mentation best practices. .Ability to communicate effectively in English with all levels of staff, both orally and written. .Experience with leading teams. .Ability to manage DevOps team backlog, multitasking to meet tight deadlines without losing sight of team priorities under minimum supervision. .Strong Salesforce deployment troubleshooting skills. preferred Skills and Experience .Ability to work independently and in a team environment. .Minimum of 2 years\' experience leading a DevOps team and guiding on the use of both internal and industry best practice. .Experience in writing and managing operational documentation, such as standard operating procedures, knowledge articles, and tech bulletins. .Experience in championing new ways of working. .Knowledge of tools and products that support DevOps such as Prodly, Codescan, Provar, and Salesforce CLI. .Understanding of Salesforce CPQ deployment strategies and challenges. .Understanding and experience working in both waterfall and agile frameworks. .Experience working with heavily integrated environments. .Understanding of automated testing concepts and tools. .Highly motivated, self-directed individual with a positive & pro-active attitude. .Customer and service focused, determined to get to the right outcome for our internal customers while protecting the quality and integrity of the pipeline. .Be driven and committed to the goals and objectives of the team and organization. Education and Professional Skills .Professional qualification or equivalent. .BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or STEM degree (Desirable). .Curious about new technologies and tools, creative thinking and initiative taking. .Salesforce and Salesforce DevOps related certifications, such as Salesforce Deployment & Lifecycle, Salesforce Administrator, Salesforce Platform App Builder or any Copado certification will be beneficial. Detailed Responsibilities .Owns the products and processes that enable developers and administrators to consistently deliver change to the LSEG Sale sforce platforms. .Works with partner organisations to ensure developers have access to the right training, are adhering the defined quality standards, and have the ability to deliver in line with their agreed projects. .Builds relationships with other teams within LSEG to support the ongoing work required to maintain integrated testing environments. .Monitors and reports on the health and effectiveness of the DevOps platform in line with agreed metrics. .Be the face of Salesforce DevOps in LSEG, ensuring that there are clear ways to engage with the team, and a thorough understanding of how deployments are to be conducted through the pipeline. .Own and deliver the DevOps team backlog while ensuring resources are used effectively to support the LSEG change projects and the backlog teams. .Implement and execute a maintenance program to ensure deployments are being executed efficiently. .Manage the delivery of high-quality, enterprise Salesforce releases which are on-time and successful by using an engineering-led approach to enabling deployments, targeting automation above manual effort. .Manage release readiness criteria, ensuring all changes meet quality criteria prior to deployment. .Identify and raise risks relating to release readiness while also facilitating to remove obstacles and protecting the integrity of the platform. .Must interact with global teams spanning EMEA, The Americas, and APAC and set the DevOps team up to be available to cover accordingly. .Engage and drive improvement across the deployment pipeline, working to interpret and implement requirements from LSEG architectural and engineering standards.
