It has two state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities located in Vadodara (Gujarat) and Mysore (Karnataka). The manufacturing facilities are accredited with ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 certifications.The Company has a capacity to manufacture around 40,000 KM per annum of power cables, 3600 KM per annum of instrumentation cables, 6 lakh core KM per annum of jelly filled (copper) telecom cables, 6 lakh fibre KM of optical fibre cables, 4000 MTs of Railway Contact Wire and 2000 MTs of Railway Catenary Wire.KEC entered the cables business by acquiring RPG Cables in 2010. • Designing/Calculation/Selection of the overhead conductor as per client/project requirement
• Reviewing technical specification & accordingly assisting sales team for costing.
• Technically handle the customer from enquiry stage to order execution stage.
• Answer the customer queries related to technical parameters & also calculations.
• Coordinate with manufacturing team for cable construction / design / quality prospect.
• Preparation of the post order documents after receiving the final purchase order received from the customer as per the technical documents submitted.
• Preparation design datasheet for Power Transmission Line Parameters like Ampacity, Inductance, Capacitance, Impedance and Sag Tension by using International Standard (IEC/BS EN/AS/SS/ASTM).
• Proficiency in AUTO-CAD software and PLSCAD Software
• Plan and execute laboratory tests and field trials to validate conductor performance. Analyze test data and identify opportunities for improvement.

Skill/ CompetenciesTechnical -

• Knowledge of MS Office - Excel etc.
• Proficiency in various national & International standards ( IS 398 Part 1 to Part 6 , IEC:61089 ,BSEN-50182 ,ASTM230 ,ASTM232 ,BS215 ,ASTM498 ,GOSHT 839 ,SS4240813 & 14 standards

Functional:

• Ability to interact independently with sales team.
• Conversant with latest technology and industry - product standards and specifications
• Coordinating with the end client for any technical related material requirement such as GA drawings, Rating factor, Specifications, QAP etc.
• Experience in Designing of overhead conductor domestic & international.

Behavioural:

• Good communication skills, Team player
