Manager Design Quality
Job Description
1. Knowledge on Engineering Deliverables & Software Design Review Process for Automotive Embedded Components.
2. Support for right quality Software development to support desired production & quality levels, following APQP process
3. Support to Manufacturing plant and suppliers for design & process robustness.
4. Meet the Gateways as per Product Development System targets for projects.
5. Document software defects, using a bug tracking system, and report defects to software developers.
6. Develop testing programs that address areas such as database impacts, software scenarios, regression testing, negative testing, error or bug retests, or usability
7. Document test procedures to ensure replicability and compliance with standards.
8. Create or maintain databases of known test defects.
9. Develop or specify standards, methods, or procedures to determine product quality or release readiness.
10. Monitor bug resolution efforts and track successes.
11. Participate in product design reviews to provide input on functional requirements, product designs, schedules, or potential problems.
12. Monitor program performance to ensure efficient and problem-free operations.
13. Investigate customer problems referred by technical support.
14. Review software documentation to ensure technical accuracy, compliance, completeness, and to mitigate risks.
15. Conduct historical analysis of test results.
