Role Description

To contribute to low level designs and test strategies for all UC computing and networking platforms.

Deliver low level platform designs for all UC network platforms according to the agreed plan, working effectively with other teams as required
Own and deliver the UC Network baseline and lifecycle.
Own and deliver the projects required to maintain platform integrity
Manage resources within the team to ensure committed delivery dates and budgets are achieved
Provide support to UC 3rd line team to solve complex problems
Provide technical support to TES teams for on-boarding issues and problems, including updating/reviewing documentation as required

Minimum 5 years experience in design and deployment of large computing and networking infrastructure with knowledge in:
- CISCO routers
- Routing & Switching
- OSPF & BGP
- Design Enterprise network
- Design implementation
- IP routing protocols: BGP, OSPF
- Load balancers (desirable)
- NFV (desirable)
- Cloud platforms (Amazon AWS, Google CPS, Microsoft Azzure) (desirable)
System administration expertise desirable: Windows Servers, RedHat Enterprise.
Significant experience in network designs and solutions for cloud computing applications and platforms.
Significant experience in router operating systems such as iOS.
Effective at communicating technical information both in detail to fellow engineers and also to summarise at a high-level and put into business/financial context for less technical senior managers
Ability to work to deadlines
