Act as a subject matter expert and supports the team in understanding concepts relating to the process. As Division Manager is responsible for implementing team goals and ensuring overall client delivery and day to day process KPIs/KRIs are met, without compromising on quality, timeliness and accuracy. Further, provides input and vision to the senior leadership for strategizing medium and long term plans and vision for the team. Responsible for coaching, mentoring and guiding managers on a continuous basis in order to achieve team and professional goals. Demonstrate strategic and tactical execution competencies.Major DutiesAbility and proven experience of managing large scale complex operations with client interactions and interventionsDemonstrate through example a strong understanding of the Collateral IOO Middle Office/Custody Operations and Domain knowledgeConduct regular feedback sessions with direct and indirect reportsResponsible for completion of Performance Management process in a timely manner as per the firm\xe2\x80\x99s policies, guidelines and proceduresSolution oriented and get to the bottom of problems by root cause analysis implementing effective controlsAbility and experience of leading large scale changes and oversee smooth transitionsAbility and experience of leading new processes migrations and client on boarding with the required levels of diligence and documentationParticipation in Audits/ BCP exercises as per the firms guidelines, review observations and closureTo Build and own culture of resilient, Risk/ BCP/ Compliance frameworkIdentify opportunities for synergies, performance enhancement opportunities and risk mitigants on a continuous basis.Manager of Managers, driving a shared vision of Global Collateral Management teams at the BankParticipate in new business/client presentations, RFP responses, and other client presentations as required.Sets priorities based on strategic direction, considering multiple perspectives and interdependencies with other areas; helps others manage competing priorities.Budgeting and proposing staffing needs, including hiring and performance improvement decisions, handles salary administration, and ensures resources are available to accomplish prioritiesCreates efficient and effective growth opportunities for self and team that build on merit based culture and address weaknessesKnowledge/ SkillsInterpersonal (relationship builder, respectful, resolves problems, people friendly and organizational savvy)Communication (presentation skills, listening skills, oral communication skills, allows others to express themselves and written communication skills)Self-management (adaptability and resilience, learning behavior, integrity and ethics and relationship builder)Motivation (performance standards, achieving results and persistent)Client Service and Quality (quality, relationship building and client satisfaction)Administration (anticipates needs, execution, planning, process specialist, quality seeker and time management)Role requires managing a team working 24*5, candidate should be flexible working in any shift as per the process/team requirements. Candidate may be required to work in NA shift as a part of the profile to provide managerial coverage to the teamExcellent demonstrable understanding of Collateral Management across Active and Passive Collateral Management functionsExtensive exposure and hands on experience in the areas of Derivative Trade Capture, Pre-Settlement Confirmation and Settlement processes involving interaction with counterparties and clientsExtensive exposure to SWIFT messaging and Payments processingA detailed understanding of Collateral management and Settlement will be an advantageA proactive approach to problem solving, taking ownership of issues and having the determination to follow through. Escalate issues as appropriateDetailed understanding of Exposure and understanding of Risk, Audit and Compliance factorsSelf-driven and an accountable approach to be demonstratedLeadership with right sense of urgency and the ability to shoulder multiple responsibilitiesLead and actively participated in cross team / BU / functional level projectsExperience RequiredIndustry experience of at least 15+ years in the IOO middle office functions, Settlements, Securities Operations with extensive exposure to Collateral Management/Derivatives is required.
