Job Description

Responsibilities & Key Deliverables1.Responsible for Complete Part Development of Mechanical Proprietary parts
2.Responsible for releasing RFQ , Quote comparison of Part and Tooling/DVP cost and follow up with Strategic sourcing team for Part settlement.
3.Responsible for Tracking and closure of Supplier Tooling Payments as per the set documentation.
4.Capacity Mapping and Understanding of Line set up, Manufacturing process cycle time/Takt time etc.
5.Knowledge of Part development methodology especially APQP Proces
6.Understanding of Cost Drivers and Interact with R&D team to ensure Design to cost approach
7.Tracking of Part Development, Samples and Line feeding of parts as per Production plan,
8.Be a Team member ion Technical reviews with Suppliers along with STA & Engg team for TSO
9.Support STA for Trial Runs at supplier ends as a part of PPAP
10.Tracking of FTG development at supplier as per project timelineExperience8- 12 yearsIndustry PreferredAutomotive industryQualificationsDiploma/B.EGeneral Requirements

• Excellent proficiency in EXCEL
• Analytical & Problem solving Skill
• Basic knowledge of Manufacturing processes
• Know how of Drawing specification and manufacturing feasibility
• Knowledge of SAP MM Module for transactions related to PR/PO and Material Receipt.
• Basic Commercial Acumen
• Should have Basic knowledge of GD&T
• Know-how of PFMEA, DMFEA, DVP, FTG development
• Should be ready to Travel & show have Good English & Hindi speaking skills
