Job Family Descriptor Minimum qualification & experience 1) Education - Graduate Engineer (Electronics , Electronics & Telecom, Computers) or Equivalent 2) 5-8 years of experiencein service provider network operations,CCNP and/or Higher /equivalentcertification is mandatory Other knowledge/skills Good knowledge on implementation, installation, integration troubleshooting and overall functionalities Experience in troubleshooting platform related issues, data backup, restoration, retention Maintains awareness of latest technologies in the domain Key Responsibilities Responsible for maintaining the availability of the MPLS Network, its various elements and services riding on the network. Incumbent would be working in shift handling various network incidents, mitigating and restoring the same. Incumbent would work for supporting various IP, VPN and other MPLS enabled services Customer issues identified to be related to the network fault.one would be driving the N/w strength As a part of network operation, Key KPIS will be of managing Network Monitoring , Network and customer service assurance and Service delivery as per TAT. As a member of Service Assurance resolution of faults at lightening speeds and steering network away from faults would be the prime focus. Handling the escalation and leading the shift operation . Significant role will be in network expansion, optimization and improvement actions Technical administration or troubleshooting to ensure the efficient functionality of the solution. Incident Validation, Incident Analysis, Solution recommendation Assists with the development, revision, and maintenance of Standard Operating Procedures and Working Instructions Prepare Monthly Executive Summary Reports for managed clients and continuously improve their content and presentation. Provide recommendations in tuning and optimization of systems, processes, procedures, and policies. Maintain an inventory of the procedures used by the operations team and regularly evaluate the procedures and add, remove, and update the procedures as appropriate. Publish weekly reports and monthly reports on customer service operations activity. Technical Competencies Technical - TCP/IP, MPLS VPNs - Layer 2 & 3 VPNs, BGP, OSPF, IP QoS, MPLS QoS, Switching (MST) , Multicast ,IPv6,GRE, IPSEC, DMVPN, SD-WAN SSL.Firewall . Huawei, Nokia , Cisco , Arista , Juniper Series routers and switches . FortiGate firewall , DDOS solution , SD WAN . Knowledge of Transport networks and WAN troubleshooting. Functional Good understanding of ISP Operations and Routing, Internet BGP Architecture, MPLS VPNs in a service provider environment. Experience in the NOC of an Internet Service Provider is desired. System Understanding of OS-UNIX ,LINUX , SYSLOG ,NMS, Behavioral Good Analytical, Diagnostic and Problem Solving skills, Customer Centricity, Dealing with ambiguity and pressure. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Knowledge / Skills Communication Skills MPLS/BGP IP (Service Providers) IP network, equipment & existing infrastructure
