To know more about the organisation, click .Position DescriptionThe Language and Learning Foundation (LLF) is seeking a talented and enthusiastic Creative Communications Officer to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will lead our social media and website presence, drive the development of creative communication strategies, and enhance LLF's digital footprint to amplify our impact in the development sector.Roles and Responsibilities:Social Media Strategy and Management:

  • Content Development: Draft engaging and informative social media posts across platforms to effectively engage with our audience.
  • Trend Awareness: Stay abreast of current social media trends, particularly those relevant to the development sector, and leverage them to enhance LLF's online presence.
  • Audience Engagement: Proactively engage with our target audience and ensure high response rates on all social media platforms.
  • Visual Content Creation: Utilize basic mobile production skills to create compelling reels and other visual content that resonate with our followers.
Content Creation and Thought Leadership:
  • LinkedIn Blogging: Craft thought-provoking LinkedIn blog posts to establish
  • LLF as a thought leader in the development field.
  • Content Development: Create compelling content for various communication materials and LLF-specific resources.
Collaboration and Feedback Integration:
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders to gather insights and feedback, ensuring content relevance and effectiveness.
  • Adaptability: Embrace constructive criticism and adjust communication strategies to optimize impact and alignment with LLFs mission.
Creative Strategy and Brand Enhancement:
  • Communication Strategy Development: Assist in developing and executing creative communication strategies that strengthen LLF's digital footprint, brand identity, and messaging.
  • Innovation: Infuse creativity, meaning, and relevance into all communication tasks to effectively convey LLFs mission and initiatives.
Qualifications, Experience and Skills Needed:Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field (required).
  • Advanced degree or specialization in Development Studies or a relevant discipline (preferred).
Experience:
  • 5-6 years of proven experience in content creation, social media management, or communications within the development sector or a related industry.
  • Demonstrated success in managing social media platforms and developing engaging content strategies.
  • Track record of producing high-quality written and visual content for diverse audiences.
Skills Required:
  • Exceptional copywriting skills with the ability to tailor content for different platforms and audiences.
  • Proficiency in basic mobile video editing tools and experience in creating multimedia content.
  • Strong understanding of SEO best practices and their application in content development.
  • Collaborative team player with the ability to solicit and integrate feedback from multiple stakeholders.
  • Passionate advocate for LLFs mission with a genuine desire to contribute to impactful communication initiatives.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks effectively, and meet deadlines consistently.
