Job Description


There have been frequent regulatory changes in the Companies Act, 2013, SEBI Listing Regulations and other corporate laws. The responsibility and obligation on the Company Secretary as a Key Managerial Personnel has increased manifold. To assist the Company Secretary & Chief Legal Officer (Corporate & Compliance) and the Head Corporate Compliance in ensuring timely compliance and monitoring for Tata Steel and its group companies, it is proposed to assign the responsibility at an IL5 level (on contract), designated as Manager - Corporate Compliance. Main purpose of the job would be: To support and assist the Company Secretary & Chief Legal Officer (Corporate & Compliance) in conduct of Board and Committee meetings. . To assist the Company Secretary and Head - Corporate Compliance with various compliances under the Companies Act, 2013, Secretarial Standards, SEBI Regulations etc. This is a 2 yrs Fixed Term Contract position. Based on 2 yrs performance, contract may be extended upto additional 1 year. Based on overall performance of 2-3 yrs, contract may be made permanent. Skills Technical Competencie s Good interpretational and analytical skills in corporate laws.
