Manager-Corporate Communications
As a Corporate Communications lead, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our external and internal communication strategies. You will be responsible for various aspects of communication, including content creation, media relations, social media management, and stakeholder engagement. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Company Branding: Create a strategy to establish and promote the company identity including its offerings & services. Set the tone for all marketing efforts including defining brand persona, visual identity & content strategy with an aim to build strong brand presence and trust.
- Timely Coverage of the company\'s projects executed: Collaborate with various business teams to showcase our shows & projects executed & work with the external agency to create engaging content, ensuring a consistent and timely media presence.
- Social Media Representation: Take complete ownership of our social media presence to create content that creates a community of followers (Brands, Consumers, Potential employees, Vendor partners), excites their curiosity & engages them in a meaningful way. Create a social media representation & usage guideline for the reference of employees.
- Website Updates: Manage and own the company\'s website content to communicate what the company stands for including the company\'s offerings & services.
- Award Submissions: Create compelling content and submission packages for industry awards to enhance our brand\'s recognition.
- Event Management: Collaborate with HR & admin dept to manage company events, town halls, and meetings while promoting specific messages to internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate with HR to support employer branding plans through the development and implementation of internal and external communication strategies.
- Create engaging & informative mediums of regular communication for internal & external audiences through newsletters, podcasts, webinars etc.
- Public Relations: Build media relations to enhance outreach and public image. Create opportunities for the company & its Senior mgt to represent company across platforms - awards, speakers, industry relevant summit & conferences & accelerator programs. Create engaging & well organised press kits to communicate the brand story and key information to journalists and other media professionals. Assist with drafting executive speeches & press releases to keep the public and media informed about company\'s activities.
- Media Monitoring: Keep a tab of electronic and print media to stay informed about our company\'s public image and reputation & be the official spokesperson to respond to any media queries. Take ownership of online reputation mgt for the company.
- Use analytics tools to monitor the impact of the branding efforts. Track metrics like brand awareness & recall, audience engagement by means of follower growth on social platforms & website traffic, brand sentiment through online reviews & social listening , client acquisition, retention & conversion rates through branding efforts. Adapt & refine the branding strategy to ensure it remains relevant and effective.
- Protect the brand & its Intellectual properties (IPs) through trademark registration and other legal measures to prevent unauthorized use or infringement.
This role will be supported by a Social Media Strategist & will report to the Director.
Required Qualification, Experience & skills:
- Bachelor\'s/PG degree in marketing, communications, PR, advertising, journalism, or related field.
- 7-8 yrs of experience in similar role in a corporate environment or an agency
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English
- Strong understanding of digital and social media platforms
- Creative thinker with a strategic mindset
