A Hybrid working model

Now offices are fully open we have embraced a hybrid working model, which allows our employees to split their time between the office and other locations, something we hope will provide everyone much more flexibility to their working week. The expectation is that working life at Hogarth will involve working from the office for about 50% of the time for most people. Manager of Content Mangement:

The Content Management organization at Hogarth is responsible for publishing creative assets, experiences, and critical digital content to our client websites and other platforms across the globe. The Head of Content manages a team that works closely with senior leadership, the Content Management organization, and external teams to ensure all client interactive deliverables are completed accurately and on time. This includes ownership of the content management and publishing operations in support of our client\'s product launches and other digital marketing programs, including setting up and managing page structure and content in a CMS (content management system).

Core responsibilities include leadership of the work of the Content Management organization, managing team resources and performance, day-to-day content management tasks, cross-functional collaboration across the Marcom organization, leading projects or initiatives from the content management perspective, and maintaining full knowledge of an ever-changing set of tools and processes.

(Note: This is a role focused on top-quality content production and publishing, with strong experience in managing a team, resource allocation, scheduling, and optimizing processes and productivity. It is not a content creation, design, or marketing job.)

Key responsibilities:

  • Own day-to-day content management operations and tasks in support of product launches, other marketing initiatives, and regular page maintenance
  • Ensure the quality of deliverables to client
  • Collaborate cross-functionally and proactively with internal and external teams, with high attention to communication standards
  • Work with developer teams to plan page structures and agree upon project approaches
  • Lead multiple projects with the support of the team
  • Manage an organization of Content Managers, Senior Content Managers, Technical Program Managers, and Content Production Writers across multiple projects, taking responsibility for meeting deadlines, driving quality and accuracy, estimating project resourcing, and overall performance of the team
  • Plan and recruit top-notch resources, ensuring skills are tuned to assigned content areas; mentor and grow team leaders to do the same for their teams.
  • Actively balance the work of multiple projects, assignments, and launches in a fast-paced, ever-evolving work environment
  • Build strong partnerships and increase satisfaction with our client by providing support, intelligent recommendations, and operational efficiencies.
  • Work within the content management org to improve documentation and training
  • Maintain complete understanding of the complexities of CMS and other internal tools
  • Troubleshoot system issues as a part of the first line of defense
  • Contribute to the evolution of internal platforms and processes by providing feedback on toolsets, UI, best practices, and workflow optimization
Requirements:
  • 10+ years experience leading and working on web content production teams
  • 7+ years team, people, resource, and budget management experience
  • Exceptional experience managing people, including managers and organizations of about 40 people
  • Experience with localization and managing content for a global audience, using a CMS
  • Deep knowledge of how content management and other related system processes work
  • Experience working with a git client application (Tower, SourceTree, etc.) a plus
  • Knowledge of HTML, XML, JSON, and enterprise CMS
  • Record of troubleshooting and diagnosing CMS issues, and communicating those issues to both technical and non-technical personnel
  • Demonstrated success in business process improvement and re-engineering
  • Demonstrated experience in assessing and optimizing team resources and time commitments, with an eye to increasing productivity and reducing costs
  • Proven ability to manage ambiguity effectively
  • Experience creating/managing internal tools a plus
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, and a demonstrated ability to work with others in an unpredictable environment while maintaining team spirit and motivation
  • Flexible personality and schedule to deal with rapidly-changing, time-constrained launch schedules
  • High degree of ownership and accountability
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and diplomacy skills
  • Must be a self starter and have a positive, energetic approach
  • Ability to balance multiple projects or assignments
  • Highly detail-oriented, organized, and patient
