Job Description



Role Summary
The role holder will work closely with Head of Compensation & Benefits, India to strategise and implement India office\'s compensation philosophy and benefits programs in order to attract, retain and engage employees.
Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the administration of key reward processes like annual compensation review, mid-year reviews, variable pay, incentive plans etc. by providing frameworks, protocols, and procedures.
  • Participates in the development of compensation and benefits philosophy, strategy, and policy.
  • Monitor the internal pay ranges, undertake competitive analysis, and market trends to provide expert guidance on salary movements, appropriate compensation and grade fitment of new hires and internal movements across all business units/functions of the organisation
  • Provide expert advice on policy interpretation and implementation for day-to-day rewards operations to HR Operations, Talent Acquisition and HRBPs
  • Forecast budget for salary increases, variable pay and benefits.
  • Provide proactive recommendation for cases where there is internal disparity in terms of compensation related to levels/grades or disparity in the salaries of new joiner vs tenured employees in similar role etc.
  • Collaborate with HRBPs, Recruitment Team and Talent Management COE to deliver on organisational initiatives.
  • Contribute to thought leadership on the topics related to compensation through research, attending relevant seminars/events and other such activities.
  • Ensures that the compensation and benefits programs support the organization\'s strategic objectives and meet the legal requirements.
  • Collaborate with Global Compensation team and ensure that India office\'s programmes are aligned to the global approach
  • Overseeing and periodically reviewing the administration of benefits.
  • Lead and participate in initiatives related to automation of compensation and benefits related processes
  • Participating in and/or leading projects focused on continuous improvement
Key Requirements Qualifications & Experience
  • MBA/PGDMHR from a reputed institute
  • 7+ years of experience in Compensation design and governance at multinational organisations
  • Experience of working with the shared services division of a global professional services firm is an added advantage
  • Extensive knowledge MS Office especially Advanced MS Excel
  • Knowledge of Statutory and Labor Laws

  • Proven ability to solve problems in a methodical and practical way

  • The ability to gather and analyse information and to use the results of that analysis to make effective decisions and find innovative solutions to problems
  • The ability to advise on a range of issues and where necessary adapt skills to address emerging issues
  • Ability to understand, analyse, interpret, and report on compensation related data including emerging compensation trends.

  • Must be a Self-starter and should be able to work independently.

Qualifications & Experience
  • MBA/PGDMHR from a reputed institute
  • 7+ years of experience in Compensation design and governance at multinational organisations
