Service Supply Chain Business Partner
SSCBP Global Operations

Service supply chain is a key function within Service business contributing to reducing supply chain costs, optimizing inventory, improving levels of service and finally generating revenue. Service Supply Chain Business Partner is a key department within Service supply chain located in Chennai supporting all key supply chain activities within Service supply chain. Global operations within SSCBP are responsible for continuous improvements, standardization, simplification, reducing non-conformance, supporting global teams in warehousing, logistics, distribution and order handling.

Responsibilities

Oversee and support a centralized operation that ensures operational efficiencies on key priorities or projects affecting the performance of the service supply chain organization

Coordinate and overseeing the implementation of projects related to operations such as data analysis, supply chain management and process improvement

Work closely with global warehousing and distribution stakeholders to understand bottlenecks affecting their performance and develop solutions to improve key indicators

Standardize the processes across entire supply chain department and facilitate sustainable operational excellence across the departments

Promote continuous improvement to NC CoE to reduce lead times, increase recovery and finally to reduce the number of non-conformances being generated

Collaborate with global team to develop the right footprint for the service supply chain

Motivate and develop a team of around 20 members to make a supply chain a great place to work

Adapt latest tools available in the market to improve standardization and simplification opportunities within service supply chain

Responsible for budget of the department and ensure operational costs are within budget guidelines

Communicate to senior management on business results on a periodic basis

Qualifications

Bachelor\'s degree in Engineering or equivalent with Masters in administratiion, shipping & logistics or equivalent, as optional

Overall of 15+ years of experience in supply chain roles from a global organization out of which minumum 5 years in progressive leadership roles in reputed global organizations

Experience in SAP, MRP config and Master data governance

Competencies

Should have a good understanding of the supply chain processes within a service organization or similar

Solid experience in coaching,recruiting and developing talent

Ability to effectively support stakeholders\' requirements and expectations

Experience in cross-cultural interactions and international stakeholders\' management

Ability to conduct benchmarking exercise

Good verbal and written communication skills
