The role is also responsible for determining the optimal training plan to support global and local priorities. Provides effective guidance and support to the Colgate Business Services (CBS) Learning Team and On-site delivery teams.Principal Duties & ResponsibilitiesAccountable for overall quality and execution of Learning logistic, administration, planning and delivery activitiesKeep abreast of business and training needs that may affect the RegionSupport identification of process improvements related to delivery and logisticsProvide strategic guidance and support to Business HR and CBS Learning and On-Site delivery teamsIdentify and recommend specific administration and delivery activities for specific learning programsInteract with Global Learning Community of HR Expertise for training support activitiesConduit between the BHR and the COHRE- Help understand basic training needs and communicate the same to COHREReview learning evaluation results and adjust future learning delivery approaches as neededPromote the necessary environment for effective internal customer satisfaction and collaboration.Ensure ongoing collaborative relationships with key internal operations partnersAssist Business HR to ensure optimization and full utilization of training resourcesAlign Training work plan with business work planDevelop, implement, track and analyze reports and communicate to all levels of management on program compliance and learning needsConstantly look at ways and means to automate processes with less manual dependenceEducation/ Experience RequirementsMinimum Education/Experience:9 years of HR/Learning experienceUp to 7 years of Learning experienceHR Learning experience on the ground preferredMaster preferredManaging peopleEnglish: fluent (speaking, reading, writing)Areas of SkillsStrong customer management experience and ability to manage customer expectationsAbility to manage multiple priorities and know when to escalate issues for resolutionStrong time management skills to prioritize effectively and handle multiple, aggressive deadlinesStrong project and process management skillsKnowledge of learning technology tools that support learner access (e.g., virtual or mobile)Basic understanding of regional laws or local requirements, as applicable for LearningKnowledge of operations management and process improvement approaches, concepts, and toolsKnowledge of approaches, tools, and techniques for working with individuals and groups in a constructive and collaborative manner, both in person or remotelyKnowledge of LMS functionality,Demonstrated understanding of planning, scheduling and budgeting activitiesKnowledge of approaches, tools, and techniques for gaining cooperation and supportGathers and analyzes data and effectively responds to new, complex, or problematic situationsLeadership CompetenciesAbility to express oneself to provide information to others effectively and in a succinct mannerEffective execution, balances speed with quality in achieving goalsAnticipates and removes potential roadblocks and develops contingency plans when neededManages expectations of others and set actionable plans to support successful achievementMonitors progress and adapts plans according to changes in circumstancesWorks effectively with people in other departments, functions and regionsCollects information from different sources to identify patterns, trends and solutionsAdopts a flexible approach to problem-solving that leads to effective solutionsTakes quick action to resolve customer issuesAbility to encourage, motivate, and guide individuals and teamsFunctional CompetenciesPrior experience as Training Leader on the ground preferredTravel RequirementsExpected percentage of travel: minimalOur Commitment to Sustainability
