As a member of Performance Reporting and Platform Services, you will be responsible for leading a team of business analysts, and developers in delivering business intelligence reporting on investment performance, analytics and attribution statistics. You will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service to our internal customer base. The ability to effectively communicate with business clients and IT professionals globally is a must. Due to the breadth of the role, interested individuals should have a thirst for learning, be able to wear multiple hats, detailed oriented and enjoy contributing to the team. This is an in office role working out of our Hyderabad location.You Will Be Responsible For:

  • Direct planning, development and ongoing management of business intelligence reporting
  • Serve as champion for user adoption of visualization tools
  • Provide governance around platform and usage of tools
  • Provide team oversight for project delivery and work closely with other departments and peers to guide and ensure the successful delivery of client solutions
  • Plan and forecast long term resource demands
  • Recruit, train, develop, supervise, and evaluate staff
  • Collaborate with functional business areas to identify opportunities and develop strategic roadmaps
  • Create and present accurate estimates of effort, costs and timescales for proposed projects
  • Manage the defining and implementing standards and best practices for visualizations
  • Partner closely with Technology to understand existing databases and communicate requirements for new datasets required to meet reporting needs.
  • Work with Performance Reporting and Platform Services teammates and stakeholders to address testing needs and results, including issue tracking, as well as post-implementation assessments of completed work
  • Ensure all solutions are accompanied by appropriate system documentation that meets internal standards
  • Ensure Management and business stakeholders are kept fully up to date on progress
  • Escalate issues and remediation steps when needed effectively and in a timely manner
The Experience You Bring:
  • Minimum 7-10 years of proven experience in business intelligence reporting and analysis roles of growing responsibility.
  • Must have prior experience directing others.
  • Minimum 3 years of business intelligence dashboard development experience with tools such as Power BI (preferred) with development
  • Proficiency in writing SQLs and Stored procedures, and use of query and reporting analysis tools
  • Proficiency in writing complex DAX formulas
  • Experience working with ETL tools such as Alteryx (preferred), Informatica, R or Python
  • Experience working with structured and unstructured data sets both on premises and in the cloud. Examples include MS SQL Server, Oracle, AWS Athena, S3, Snowflake, etc.
  • Strong understanding of data warehouse design principles and dimensional modeling
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Proven successful track record working in a matrix-managed resource environment
  • Broad knowledge of financial services/asset management industry and investment process in particular
  • Experience utilizing project management methodologies such as Agile, best practices and processes
  • Desire to stay abreast of new development tools and methods
