Its innovative culture is driven by the passion of its 4240- strong team of scientists who work with clients from around the world to solve their scientific problems, improve R&D productivity, speed up time to market and lower the cost of innovation.Job Purpose: This role will serve as a dedicated business partner for Discovery Services for driving focus on the division financial management, cost to serve and adherence to plan..Key Responsibilities:Be the advisor to the Operating Unit Head(s) and guide them for making financially sound decisionsWork on data analytics and data models to support data-based decision makingBusiness forecasting: drive the planning process for the business segmentExpense management: creating expense accountability - linking delivery to spendVariance analysis of revenue and costsProvide in depth analysis of customer profitability and project profitability on periodic basisDrive proactive inventory and debtors management for the businessDrive implementation of cost optimization programsAd hoc analysis to support senior managementPricing and viability models for all deals: prepare business cases for investment/capex proposalsGate keeper for investment decisions.
