Job Title: Business Development Manager (BDM) /Sr. Business Development Manager (SBDM)

Location: Chennai, Madurai, Coimbatore, Tirupur, Salem, Karur, Hosur and Pondy

Salary: Min 4 to max 6 lac PA

Job Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Insurance Business Development Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for expanding our client base, identifying new business opportunities, and building and maintaining profitable relationships with brokers, agents, and corporate clients in the insurance industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Business Development:
• Identify new business opportunities and partnerships in the insurance sector.
• Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base.
• Research and analyse market trends and competitors to identify opportunities for growth.
• Client Relationship Management:
• Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key stakeholders, including brokers, agents, and corporate clients.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and address their needs and concerns effectively.
• Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients and partners.
• Sales and Marketing:
• Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth.
• Collaborate with marketing teams to create promotional campaigns and marketing materials.
• Attend industry events and conferences to network and generate leads.
• Team Collaboration:
• Work closely with underwriting, claims, and other internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Provide leadership and support to sales and business development teams.
• Financial Management:
• Prepare and present regular sales reports and forecasts to management.
• Monitor and manage budgets related to business development activities.

Requirements:

• Any Bachelor's degree in (Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field MBA preferred).
• Proven track record in insurance sales and business development, with at least one or two years of experience in a similar role.
• Deep understanding of the insurance industry, including products, services, and market trends.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to travel as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Established network of contacts in the insurance industry.
