What you\'ll do: Ability to convert business problem to an analytical problem. Guide a small team of individuals to provide solution to the analytical problem for multiple businesses/region Identify business problems/new opportunities to drive higher business value. Diagnose and resolve moderate to Providing high-quality analysis and strategy recommendations to business problems. Manage delivery within agreed timelines and as per agreed quality standards. Also drive business benefit through self-initiated projects Closely interact with the FCS Operations teams from GSC sites and FCS Regions to understand the analytical requirements with minimal handholding and support analytical plan/approach independently to build analytical solutions. Work closely with each business area in order to deliver specific solutions for each business bottom-line. Provide support for data visualization projects to include project design, data model design, dashboard/tool development and deployment. Data modelling using state-of-the-art methods. Establish quality standards in terms of timeliness of the projects and accuracy of the deliverables. Ability to work effectively as an individual and within a group. Ability to be flexible and productive in a fast-paced environment with geographically distributed teams. S/he should have analytical independent thought process and can-do attitude towards all the problems needing a solution. Adhere strictly to compliance and operational risk controls in accordance with Company and regulatory standards, policies and practices, report control weaknesses, compliance breaches and operational loss events. Complete other related duties as assigned and support the Company\'s Diversity programs Ensure adherence with all the applicable compliance policies (Data security policy, AML, operational risk, Functional manual, Group Compliance Manual, Audit recommendations, Internal Control requirements, regulatory guidelines etc.) and business standards of Organization as applicable. Major Challenges Given the dynamic and ever-changing global business situation, the incumbent of this role is expected to surmise the business priority and enable the effective delivery of projects and analysis and meet the ever-changing business priorities The role holder will be expected to go to the heart of the business problem under consideration, and provide a solution rather than simply present the data Management of Risk/Internal Controls/Compliance: The jobholder will continually reassess the operational risks associated with the role and inherent in the business, taking account of changing economic or market conditions, legal and regulatory requirements, operating procedures and practices, management restructurings, and the impact of new technology. The jobholder will also adhere to and be able to demonstrate adherence to internal controls. This will be achieved by adherence to all relevant procedures, keeping appropriate records and, where appropriate, by the timely implementation of internal and external audit points, including issues raised by external regulators. The jobholder will implement the Group compliance policy by containing compliance risk in liaison with Global Head of Compliance, Global Compliance Officer, Area Compliance Officer or Local Compliance Officer. The term \'compliance\' embraces all relevant financial services laws, rules and codes with which the business has to comply. This will be achieved by adhering to all relevant processes/procedures and by liaising with Compliance department about new business initiatives at the earliest opportunity. Requirements Graduate / Master\'s degree in mathematics, computer science, statistics, finance, related field or equivalent experience. At least 2 - 5 years of proven data analysis and/or IM experience, or equivalent. Ability to talk to client and understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions Work with all teams, clients, and stakeholders, possess strong communication skills. It is knowing what the client wants-describing management changes-IT-based problem-solving Stakeholder analysis helps clarify a project\'s development by identifying and removing several barriers. Able to do fundamental statistical and probability analysis. Must foresee outcomes and possess the specialized abilities that enable organizations to overcome obstacles Interact with the development team to design a solution for solving a particular problem. Proactively provide feedback on a software application\'s layout and implement the newly designed features that a business needs. Gauge the functional and non-functional requirements in a business responsible for validating the status of a project with the help of user acceptance testing. They ensure if the business solutions are in line with the clients\' requirements. Need to Document and buildData Visualizationsto convey all the project findings. Conduct regular meetings with stakeholders and clients to discuss business issues and solutions. Primary Skills: . Programming Language: SAS/Java/.Net/VBA/Python. . Databases: SQL Server/Oracle 11g, Oracle 12c (SQL, PL/SQL). . Database Tools/IDE: SQL developer, SQL server . Office Tools: MS Visio, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint & MS Access Must be a self-starter and will be required to work under minimal supervision, but with firm deadlines. Experience on any Process Automation/Integration IT Projects is preferred. Strong programming skills to include knowledge of statistical programs and/or advanced database programs Good organizational, analytical, problem-solving, verbal and written communication skills. Project management with technical background. Strong working knowledge on Statistical Analysis concepts and application.
