- Working with a team of Junior Agronomists to provide Agronomy support to several client and company operated farms across India.
- Interacting with clients to help them resolve the issues they may be facing while growing different crops Hydroponically.
- Production planning, from seed to harvest to ensure maximum capacity utilisation in different farms.
- Crop quality control to ensure that the quality of produce is good, health, and safe.
- Integrated pest management to ensure that pests are controlled without using and deadly pesticides.
- Representing the company in different relevant forums.
- Farm audit and corrective action implementation across different farms.
Location: The base location will be Bangalore but the role will involve frequent travelling to various client sites. Expect between 6 to 9 months of travelling every year.
Requirements
- Good communication skills in English and Hindi
- A masters or higher degree in Plant Physiology, Horticulture or any allied science
- Minimum 5 years of relevant work-experience of which at least 3 years should involve direct crop growing experience in a polyhouse
