Key Responsibilities:
- Guide and assist regional plants and DCs for Safety & Health statutory compliance.
- Develop and implement site specific safety programs safety policies, procedures, and programs to foster a safe working environment.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and inspections to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
- Support Plant, DC and Sub Contractors facility to understand safety key performance indicator and assist to achieve that.
- Provide safety training to employees, ensuring understanding and adherence to safety protocols.
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, analyzing root causes and implementing corrective actions.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of health and safety regulations and ensure organizational compliance.
- Collaborate with department managers to integrate safety measures into daily operations.
Lead emergency response planning and drills to prepare employees for potential crisis.
- Manage and analyze safety performance metrics, providing regular reports to management
- Support Plant, DCs and Subcontractors facilities to understand and implement Global Safety Standards
- Coordinate with Plant, DC and Subcontractors facility to conduct Self Assessments.
- Engage with regulatory agencies and participate in safety audits and inspections.
- Stay informed about industry best practices and incorporate relevant advancements into safety programs.
Qualifications:
Bachelor of Engineering/ Master of Science + Post Graduate Diploma in Industrial Safety/ Masters in Industrial Safety
Experience:
Having 8-9 Years relevant experience
Skills & competencies:
- Relevant Industrial experience of Industrial Health and Safety
- Well versed with applicable HSE legal requirements
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively train and engage employees at all levels.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to investigate incidents and implement preventive measures.
- Detail-oriented and organized, capable of maintaining accurate safety records.
Proficient in using safety management software and tools.
