For the position of Manager Sales - Lithium-ion Battery (Solar, EV, and ESS) - South India

Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced candidate to lead our sales efforts in the South India market. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales and business development, with a deep understanding of the Lithium-ion battery industry, particularly within the solar, EV, and ESS domains. The person will be responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding market presence, and building strong customer relationships in the region.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and increase market share in South India.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct market research and analysis to identify key opportunities, market trends, and customer needs within the solar, EV, and ESS and other potential sectors.
  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities by establishing and nurturing relationships with potential customers, partners, and industry stakeholders.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, providing excellent customer service and support to ensure satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Sales Forecasting and Reporting: Monitor sales performance, track key metrics, and prepare regular reports for management, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a team of sales professionals, providing guidance, support, and training to ensure alignment with company goals and objectives.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including marketing, product development, and operations to align sales strategies with overall business objectives.
  • Industry Networking: Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows, networking with key stakeholders and promoting our products and services.

Functional responsibilities \xe2\x80\x93
  • Responsible for delivering outstanding Sales results for the Industrial electronics products in the assigned region
  • To follow the business plan to meet or exceed sales objectives in assigned geography.
  • Retain existing customers and Develop new customers by making cold calls, frequent visits and applying other marketing strategies or methods.
  • Providing techno-commercial support on timely manner and responsible for entire sales cycle
  • To follow the development strategies and develop business in the assigned region and possess ability to close the deals.
  • Analyses competitor\'s Product and marketing moves and give input to the business team.
  • Work closely with other cross functional teams to ensure smooth execution of business.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor\'s degree in Electronics, Electrical, Engineering, or related field.
  • Proven track record of success in sales and business development, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in the Lithium-ion battery industry, preferably within the solar, EV, and ESS sectors.
  • Strong understanding of the South India market dynamics, customer preferences, and regulatory environment.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to analyse market trends, identify opportunities, and develop effective sales strategies.
  • Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and inspire a team towards achieving goals.
  • Willingness to travel within South India as required.
