The adventure begins right here, with you, at SITA.ABOUT THE ROLE & TEAMAs Manager Test, you will support the creation of a test team in India, support the transition of the test activities in collaboration with the Quality Assurance team and then ensure the team is working as expected, through good planning and providing the expected KPI.
You will be accountable for the quality of the product, ensuring both the test set are maintained well and the team structure efficiency.
Reporting to the Senior Manager Software Development, you will be a part of the E&T Application Department team, within the Aircraft BU of SITA responsible for a growing test team.WHAT YOU\xe2\x80\x99LL DO

• Support the transition from a Test/QA located in Europe to a Test team in India with European QA member.
• Implement the new strategy in cooperation with the lead Quality Assurance
• Supervise the team in India, creating a test competence center for multiple products.
• Handle regular discussion with the Product Owners in Europe to understand challenges, additional load
• Provide clear report on the quality of the deliverable, following predefined KPI.
• Manage the team in Delhi to ensure both:

o Team cohesion and growth as per plan
o Work continuity (knowledge coverage, seniority)

• Support the review of different projects done with Indian suppliers.
• Setup a process to ensure the team cover all the aspects of testing: Tickets, regression and Automation.
• Support a no silo setup where the test team have regular discussion with the rest of the scrum team to ensure fast correction of the defects.

QualificationsABOUT YOUR SKILLS

• University degree or equivalent preferably in Computer Science, Engineering, Aeronautics or similar (or equivalent work experience)
• Communicative person, able to handle a collocated team with key stakeholders in Europe.
• Should have solution oriented mindset.
• Minimum 7-10 years of QA or testing experience, with at least 2-4 years in a lead or management position.
• Strong understanding of manual and automated testing, including regression testing, test automation, performance testing, and defect management
• ISTQB, CSTM, CTM, CMSQ or equivalent certification
• Proven experience in managing teams, including resource planning, performance management, and process improvements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, especially in coordinating between offshore and onshore teams.
