Job Description


Manager - App Merchandising (Content Marketing, B2C, FMCG) Role & Responsibilities:Plan and Execute:- Think, Discuss & Plan Marketing Strategy (Traffic Driving, New Customer Recruitment, Customer Engagement, Retention, increasing wallet share) with business teams- Complete Ownership of End-to-End Campaign Performance, Analysis, Reporting, and Driving improvements- Create and own merchandising strategy - using briefs from business teams; planning of assets to deployment using a team of executives.- Create and execute weekly, monthly, and quarterly plans- Translate the above plans into detailed and actionable activity charts with clearly defined owners and checkpoints- Timely follow-up with all stakeholders to ensure on-time high-quality delivery (Merch Team, Business Team, Design Team)- Own quality of on-app assets: 100% adherence to the highest standards of on-app assets. 100% Customer 1st mindset- New Assets: Be on the lookout for newer asset types that we can have on the app- Festive Stores: Plan a quarter of special festive stores- Category Melas: Plan a month category special stores- Corrective Actions: If assets aren't performing to the levels needed - please take corrective action immediately and change assets, SKUs, pricing, etcTrack and report :- Track campaign performance daily and work to improve ROI with every single campaign- Across all channels (On App Assets - banners etc, PN, SMS, Whatsapp, Pamphlets + Lucky Contest, Jumbo coins, Quiz, Credit, Surveys, Etc,.)- Create Dashboards: With the help of the data science team make dashboards that would help to surface the performance of merch activitiesTeam Lead:Ensure work is done through a team of 4-6 TL + execs.Fix:- Look for ways we can improve tech in relation to the usage of merch ingestion software to make the system faster, more intuitive, and less human-dependentIdeal Candidate:- First Principles Problem solver- Self-driven: Ability to work independently with limited support in a fast-paced, high-growth environment- Committed and High Intent: Hunger to work, deliver, and grow in a rapidly growing organization- Experimentative mindset: Ideate, try, measure, learn, document, and help improve ways of working- Has worked in e-commerce; esp in-app merch teams- Good collaboration skills - great at communication and negotiation - Ability to influence a variety -of stakeholders without relying on positional authority- Willingness to get your hands dirty: Learn from customers and on-ground teams about their business and challenges- Strong analytical skills with advanced proficiency in Excel- Ability to drive insights from data- Interest and understanding of Retail in India within Grocery stores in FMCG and staples industry (ref:updazz.com)
