Job Description

As a Manager - Agile Practice, you will support the Agile Organization. You will provide coaching, mentoring and guidance to Executives, Business Partners, leaders, and other stakeholders across the organization to ensure the delivery of "value" from the people, product, and organization perspective. You will provide leadership as the organization transitions to a more lean and agile approach. You will develop relationships across the organization to skillfully build trust, influence change and create transparency. You will shape the Agile journey by contributing to the creation of and implementing new strategies, delivering on key goals, and maintaining alignment with overall company strategies and core values while delivering in a Scrum @ Scale environment.

Responsibilities:

• Lead a cross-functional team of Coaches, Scrum Masters and Senior Scrum Masters through company's Agile Transformation journey by coaching and mentoring
• Interface and maintain clear communication with Agile Transformation Directors
• Facilitate events that bring out the ideas of everyone by being a catalyst leader and incorporating different perspectives and ideas
• Coach the leaders and empower the team's ability to solve problems
• Increase visibility of and facilitates the Agile Transformation Strategy throughout the organization and may be aligned with a specific Portfolio or Value Stream
• Create alignment and communicate the vision, goals and progress towards business objectives and Agile Transformation Strategy
• Support Portfolio alignment sessions to determine appropriate teams/products to include in the Portfolio and organize into Value Streams if applicable
• Work with leaders outside Agile Organization such as ePMO, SRO, Business Leaders to design the organizational model
• Oversee the operation at the organizational level, working across departments, developing leaders, and extending agility across the enterprise to enable the vision and strategic goals
• Teach and mentor organization on Lean, Agile, and Scrum/Kanban principles and best practices
• Help to establish relentless improvement across the entire organization and accelerates progress
• Work with the organization to implement and create new practices that will improve the organization's ability to deliver better outcomes
• Fosters a Kaizen mindset within and outside the team
• Help the teams remove their own barriers, leverage network to remove barriers the team is unable to remove and challenge organizational impediments

Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree in business, industrial engineering or software engineering, agile, project management or a related field is required.
• 7+ years of experience on a scrum team
• 5 years of leadership experience
• 5 years of experience with lean and implementing a kaizen mindset
• 3 years' experience working in a Scaled environment, preferable Scrum @ Scale or SAFe
• Strong communication, interpersonal, coaching, teaching and mentoring skills
• Demonstrates the Scrum Values: Openness, Respect, Courage, Commitment and Focus
• Must have a bias for action and be comfortable in an ever changing or ambiguous environment
• Advanced credential from the Scrum Alliance, Scrum Inc, Scrum.org, or ICAgile
• Demonstrated experience working with project and collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, Miro and Office 365 preferred
• Demonstrated ability to encourage team members to have an experimental and fail-fast and learning mindset preferred
• Demonstrated experience working with teams applying DevSecOps capabilities to achieve delivery speed and operational stability preferred
• Demonstrated experience working with teams from a variety of technical domains, including but not limited to warehouse management systems, ERPs, financial systems and data-warehouses preferred
• Ability to travel up to 25%
