Educational Qualifications Essential: B. Sc in Agriculture / Botany Desirable: Diploma / MBA in Sales/Marketing. Experience Overall 0 to 02 years of experience in Sales. Experience in sales of vegetable seeds will be highly preferred. Relevant Industry Experience Mandatory from Seed / Agriculture industry Good sales experience in Agri-Chemical business may be considered / Responsibilities Strengthen existing business and aggressively develop new business in the assigned territory/region Conduct intensive field promotional activities & product demo in your area Organise demand creation activities at farmer\'s level Build strong business relationship with Dealers / Distributors in your area and promote the Company products/sales continuously along with product promotional activities at point of sale Collect and provide market intelligence information to your reporting Manager and support in planning market development activities Achieving sales targets assigned to you at the beginning of financial year Ensure Timely Payments Collection Coordinate with R&D team In conducting and evaluation of trials by providing market feedback Provide support to farmers on agronomy practices, complaint resolution, technical information about products etc Prepare and execute your weekly/monthly sales and tour plans Desired Skills & Competencies Have good knowledge & understanding about vegetable seed markets and competition Good negotiation, presentation/report making and inter-personal skills Good written and oral communication skills Ability to work comfortably on MS Office - Word, Excel, Power Point Ability to converse in multiple languages (Local, Hindi & English) Cost consciousness Good knowledge of geographical areas for planning your travel Willingness to travel in rural areas Good planning, prioritizing and organizing skills
