Maintenance Technician
Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement a preventive maintenance schedule for all machinery and equipment.
• Ensure timely and effective maintenance and repair work is carried out to minimize downtime.
• Coordinate with production teams to schedule maintenance activities.
• Lead and supervise a team of maintenance technicians and workers.
• Monitor the condition of machinery and facilities, identifying areas for improvement.
• Maintain records of maintenance activities, equipment status, and inventory of spare parts.
• Oversee the installation and commissioning of new equipment.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
• Conduct regular safety audits and inspections of the facilities.
• Liaise with external vendors and contractors for specialized maintenance and repair services.
Qualifications:
• Diploma / Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field preferred.
• Proven 2-3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong technical knowledge of machinery and equipment maintenance.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From ?25,000.00 per month
