A Service and Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair operations of equipment, machinery, or facilities. Their role typically includes:

Team Management: Leading and managing a team of maintenance workers or technicians, including scheduling shifts, assigning tasks, and providing training.

Preventive Maintenance: Developing and implementing preventive maintenance schedules to ensure that equipment and facilities remain in optimal working condition.

Repair and Troubleshooting: Supervising the repair of malfunctioning equipment and troubleshooting issues to minimize downtime and operational disruption.

Safety and Compliance: Ensuring that all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations and industry standards to maintain a safe working environment.

Inventory Management: Managing the inventory of spare parts and maintenance supplies, and ordering replacements as needed.

Budgeting and Cost Control: Monitoring maintenance budgets, controlling costs, and making recommendations for cost-saving measures.

Documentation and Reporting: Keeping accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections, and generating reports for management review.

Coordination: Coordinating with other departments to address maintenance issues that may impact operations and ensuring that maintenance work does not interfere with production or service delivery.
