Job Purpose

Ensures that all machines and equipment are in top operating condition and are available for production as needed.

• Responsible for maintaining plant equipment (NMC /SSD/ Common).

• Responsible to manage maintenance calendar and adhere to the specified timeline.

• Prepare annual periodic maintenance plan for the available equipment in the manufacturing plant.

• Maintain the calibration reports and manage the calibration process of the measuring & monitoring equipment for the shop floor.

• Attend to daily, weekly and monthly maintenance of equipment as per the maintenance plan.

• Liaise with respective OEM to understand the maintenance aspect of the equipment as well as to sort out the maintenance related issues.

• Prepare maintenance reports and metrics on monthly basis.

• Manage maintenance reporting activity using TDM/SAP Maintenance module.

• Maintain History card against each equipment.

• Attend to breakdown maintenance within 24 Hours.

• Adhere to the yearly maintenance objective for the plant.

• Coordinate with procurement team to arrange for required spares for equipment maintenance.

• Manage the IMS documents to comply to statutory & legal requirements.

• Manage TAT time for the maintenance activity.

• 100% compliance to yearly objectives.

• 100% compliance to maintenance budget and ensure no exceeding to the agreed budget against the financial year quota.

• Manage EHRA for the maintenance activity.

You are meant for this job if:

• ITI/Diploma in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering/BE Mechanical. Minimum 2 years of relevance experience in plant equipment maintenance.

• 
  Must possess a clear understanding of general math & have the ability to read, write & comprehend English & Hindi.

• 
  Ability to comprehend Technical drawings, BOM (Bill of Material), Operation & Maintenance procedures, Quality & Safety Documents.

• 
  Exposure to shop floor environment is mandate.

• 
  Must have experience in mechanical maintenance of heavy duty hydraulic equipment e.g. Hydraulic Press, CNC Machine, Oven, Milling Machine, Crane, Material Handling Equipment etc.

• 
  Knowledge on Electrical maintenance, PLC setup will be considered as additional advantage.

• 
  Must be trained on operating overhead crane. Operating knowledge (with Valid License) of forklift would be an added advantage.

• 
  Must be aware about Industrial safety standards.

• 
  Ability to perform dimensional inspection for heavy weight oil & gas equipment would be an added advantage.

• 
  Operational knowledge of SAP various modules will be an added advantage.

• 
  Ability to use computer or workstation. Should have proficiency in Microsoft Word & Excel.
