Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Maintenance Manager to oversee the maintenance operations at our large manufacturing plant, which houses over heavy machines and a diesel generator set. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of experience in maintenance, with a strong background in preventive maintenance, breakdown management, electrical, mechanical, and servicing of machinery. The Maintenance Manager will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of all equipment and systems, minimizing downtime, and maximizing productivity.

Key Responsibilities:

Preventive Maintenance:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive preventive maintenance program for all machinery and equipment.
• Schedule regular maintenance tasks to ensure optimal performance and longevity of equipment.
• Maintain accurate records of all preventive maintenance activities.

Breakdown Management:

• Quickly and effectively respond to machinery breakdowns to minimize downtime.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues.
• Coordinate with relevant teams to ensure timely repair and restoration of equipment.

Electrical Maintenance:

• Oversee the maintenance and repair of electrical systems, including wiring, motors, and control panels.
• Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and regulations.
• Conduct regular inspections of electrical systems to identify and address potential issues.

Mechanical Maintenance:

• Manage the maintenance and repair of mechanical components, including bearings, gears, and hydraulic systems.
• Ensure all mechanical systems are operating efficiently and safely.
• Perform regular inspections and maintenance of mechanical equipment.

Servicing:

• Coordinate and manage the servicing of all machinery and equipment.
• Maintain an inventory of spare parts and ensure availability for timely repairs.
• Work with external service providers as needed to supplement in-house maintenance efforts.

Power Supply Management:

• Oversee the maintenance and operation of the diesel generator set.
• Ensure a reliable and consistent power supply to the plant.
• Perform regular testing and maintenance of the generator to ensure readiness during power outages.

Reporting and Documentation:

• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, including repairs, inspections, and preventive maintenance.
• Prepare and present regular reports on maintenance performance, including downtime analysis and cost management.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in maintenance management in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Proven experience with preventive maintenance programs and breakdown management.
• Familiarity with industrial machinery, including heavy machines and diesel generators.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Relevant technical qualifications and certifications (e.g., ITI, Diploma, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering) are preferred.

Pay: ?25,000.00 - ?48,000.00 per month
