Job Description

Machine Maintenance:

Perform regular maintenance checks on machinery used in furniture production, including saws, drills, sanders, and CNC machines. This involves inspecting, cleaning, lubricating, and repairing machinery as needed to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance.

Troubleshooting:

Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and other issues with machinery. Identify root causes of problems and implement effective solutions to minimize downtime and production delays.

Scheduled Maintenance:

Develop and implement a preventive maintenance schedule for all equipment. Conduct routine inspections and servicing.

Emergency Repairs:

Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and malfunctions, whether during regular production hours or outside of normal working hours. Carry out emergency repairs to restore operations and minimize disruption to production schedules.

Safety Compliance:

Ensure all machinery and equipment meets safety regulations and standards. Implement safety protocols and procedures to protect employees from accidents and injuries related to equipment operation.

Documentation:

Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including inspection reports, repair logs, and spare parts inventory. Keep detailed documentation to track equipment performance, identify recurring issues, and make data-driven decisions for improvement.

Team Collaboration:

Collaborate with production teams and other departments to coordinate maintenance activities with production schedules. Communicate effectively with operators and supervisors to address maintenance needs and prioritize tasks accordingly.

Training and Development: Provide training to operators and maintenance staff on equipment operation, maintenance procedures, and safety protocols. Stay updated on new technologies and industry best practices to continuously improve maintenance processes.

Job Specifications:

Education: Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.

Experience:

Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in maintenance of machines in the furniture manufacturing industry. Experience with a variety of machinery and equipment used in furniture production.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.

Strong experience with Hot press, Beam Saw, Edge bending, Multi Boring, CNC machinery and automated production systems.

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.

Knowledge of preventive maintenance techniques and practices.

Understanding of safety regulations and compliance standards.

Physical Requirements: Candidates should be physically fit and able to perform manual tasks associated with equipment maintenance.

Availability: Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or overtime as needed to address maintenance emergencies and meet production demands.

Pay: ?18,000.00 - ?22,000.00 per month
