Job Description

• Preventative Maintenance:
• Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on electrical systems, including power panels, transformers, generators, lighting fixtures, and control circuits.
• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance tasks according to established PM schedules.
• Lubricate and clean electrical equipment as needed.
• Monitor and record electrical parameters like voltage, current, and power factor.
• Troubleshooting and Repair:
• Diagnose electrical faults and malfunctions on production machinery and facility systems.
• Repair or replace faulty electrical components, including wiring, motors, relays, circuit breakers, and control devices.
• Respond promptly to electrical emergencies and breakdowns, minimizing production downtime.
• Compliance and Documentation:
• Adhere to all safety protocols and cGMP regulations related to electrical maintenance within a pharmaceutical environment.
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and spare parts used.
• Ensure proper documentation of calibration procedures for electrical test equipment.
• Collaboration and Support:
• Work closely with other maintenance technicians and production personnel to identify and resolve electrical issues affecting operations.
• Assist with installation and modification of new electrical equipment as needed.
• Provide technical support and training to junior maintenance staff on electrical systems.

Required Qualifications:

• Education:
• Degree/Diploma in Electrical Engineering or related field preferred
• Experience:
• Minimum 4-6 years of hands-on experience in industrial electrical maintenance, preferably within a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot complex electrical systems and equipment.
• Technical Skills:
• Knowledge of electrical codes and safety standards
• Proficiency in using electrical test equipment (multimeter, ohmmeter, megger)
• Understanding of motor control circuits, PLC logic, and industrial control systems
