Job Title: Electrician

Department: Maintenance & Electrician

Location: Tumkur, Karnataka

Job Summary: As a Electrician, you will be responsible for assisting in the day-to-day operations related to Maintenance and Electrical Department of the company. You will work closely with the Maintenance & Electrical Team to ensure the accuracy and integrity of records.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, machinery, and equipment in accordance with relevant codes and safety regulations.
• Inspect electrical components, such as transformers, circuit breakers, and switches, compressors and other electrical equipment's to identify issues and troubleshoot problems.
• Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, using testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, and oscilloscopes.
• Install wiring systems, including conduit, cable trays, and raceways, to distribute electrical power in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
• Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components, following diagrams and blueprints, ensuring proper installation and adherence to safety standards.
• Install and maintain electrical equipment, such as lighting fixtures, switches, and outlets.
• Adhere to safety practices and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries during electrical installations and repairs.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and national electrical codes and regulations.
• Identify and mitigate electrical hazards and maintain a safe work environment for self and others.
• Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components, using test equipment and hand tools, to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem.
• Replace or repair defective parts, wiring, or equipment, using hand tools and power tools.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, including time spent, materials used, and work completed.
• Prepare reports and documentation related to electrical installations, repairs, and inspections.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and managers regarding job status, issues, and recommendations.

Qualifications and Skills:

• ITI - Electrical or SSLC
• Basic understanding of Electrical principles and practices would be an advantage.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Willingness to learn and take on new challenges.

Experience:

• Freshers & Experienced both are eligible.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ?15,000.00 - ?20,000.00 per month
