: The Maintenance Engineer will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production facilities and equipment. This role involves performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting equipment issues, and implementing maintenance strategies to minimize downtime and maximize productivity. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical and electrical background, along with experience in maintenance planning and execution. Responsibilities:
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform preventive maintenance tasks on machinery, equipment, and facilities to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose equipment malfunctions and perform corrective maintenance to address issues in a timely manner.
- Repair and Replacement: Repair or replace faulty components, parts, and systems to restore equipment to working condition.
- Maintenance Planning: Develop and implement maintenance schedules and plans to minimize downtime and maximize equipment uptime.
- Spare Parts Management: Maintain inventory of spare parts and materials, and coordinate procurement as needed for maintenance activities.
- Documentation: Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, maintenance logs, and equipment manuals.
- Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols in all maintenance activities to maintain a safe working environment.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains in maintenance procedures and practices.
- Training and Development: Provide training and guidance to maintenance technicians to enhance their skills and capabilities.
- Emergency Response: Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and emergencies to minimize production disruptions and ensure rapid resolution.
- Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- Proven experience in maintenance engineering, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, including troubleshooting and repair techniques.
- Familiarity with preventive maintenance principles and practices.
- Proficiency in maintenance management software and tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and protocols.
- Certification in maintenance or related field is a plus.
