We are looking for a engineering professional for the role of Maintainence & Operations officer at Absolute. In this role, the person will be responsible for:

• Maintaining the operations, maintenance and sterilization of equipment and bioreactor facilities.
• Maintaining compliance with approved SOPs, batch records, controlled documentation and all applicable regulations, guidelines, safety policies and procedure are followed. Also, ensuring all the compliances are met as per OSHA protocols.
• Performing weekly set-up, running, and breakdown of bioreactors.
• Maintaining maximum operability of the fermenters and related equipment.
• Authoring, reviewing and revising deviations/CAPAs, manufacturing and process equipment documents and other technical documentation as per requirement.
• Performing and/or providing assistance in third parties in performing standard preventative maintenance programs.
• Assisting in change controls associated with production and support equipment, process and utilities
• Participating in production sustainability goals and seek out innovative solutions to ensure achievement and enhance bioreactor performance.
• Participating in cleaning and equipment validation efforts as well as validation documentation within a cGMP facility.
• Ensuring that all production activities are conducted in alignment with safety, quality, and sustainability initiatives.
• Maintain integrity of the production facility and ensure there is no cross-contamination.
• Training professionals in manufacturing process and participating in cross-training initiatives.
• Designing, building and maintaining automation and migration systems.
• Monitoring automation and providing training to professionals involved in the process.

What are we looking for?

• Minimum 4 years of experience in maintenance and operations of lab manufacturing equipments and related process.
• Previous experience in handling and operating fermentation facilities, bioreactors and liquid processing equipments are preferred.
• Knowledge and working experience of QA/QC and cGMP would be an added benefit.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Proficient in stakeholder management, negotiation and vendor management is a must.
• Effective in handling conflicting situations, sound decision and problem making skills
