If you are passionate about mainframe technologies and eager to work in a fast-paced environment, we invite you to apply for this exciting opportunity.Responsibilities:- Monitor and maintain the z/OS environment, ensuring high availability and performance.- Troubleshoot and resolve mainframe hardware and software issues swiftly and effectively.- Collaborate with application teams to support their mainframe application requirements.- Implement system upgrades, patches, and maintenance in accordance with best practices.- Perform regular backups and ensure data integrity and disaster recovery processes are in place.- Document all processes, system configurations, and troubleshooting procedures.- Assist in capacity planning and resource allocation to meet business demands.Requirements:- Proven experience as a Mainframe Infrastructure Support Engineer, specifically with z/OS.- Strong knowledge of mainframe hardware, software, and networking concepts.- Experience with JCL, TSO/ISPF, and other mainframe utilities and tools.- Hands-on experience with problem determination and resolution for z/OS environments.- Familiarity with database management systems, particularly DB2 or IMS.- Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills, with a detail-oriented approach.- Strong verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively.
