Job Description
- Analyze, design, code, test, and debug mainframe-based applications to meet business requirements.
- Develop and maintain programs using COBOL, JCL, and related tools.
- Utilize CICS for developing and managing transaction processing systems.
- Write and optimize SQL queries for data extraction and manipulation.
- Perform batch job creation and scheduling.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve system issues to ensure seamless application performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the timely delivery of projects.
- Provide production support and maintenance for existing applications.
- Document processes, designs, and system configurations.
- Proficiency in Mainframes, COBOL, JCL, CICS, and SQL.
- Strong understanding of mainframe application development and maintenance.
- Experience with debugging tools and utilities for mainframe applications.
- Familiarity with SDLC processes in mainframe environments.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
