We have a structured approach where colleagues work at an onsite location on fixed, \'anchor\', days of the week, for a minimum of two days a week or more, as set by the business area (or nearest equivalent if working part-time hours). Introduction: The candidate will be based out of Mumbai and work with the Macro Rates Trading and Structuring team. The role suits a self-motivated, highly energetic individual with strong tech/coding abilities and interest in finance. The desk deals with structured rates derivatives products. The candidate will work closely with the Trading desk to provide tech savvy solutions for better risk management of the trading books. The candidate should be adept at data analysis using programming skills and be able to interpret the impact on trading books. The broad area includes building tools that help the desk in optimizing P/L generation and aid design of trading strategies. The role may also require the candidate to provide indicative price levels for standardized client solutions. What will you be doing o Work closely with the desk to develop tools to identify market opportunities, price structured products, build trade analyzers and generate trade ideas o Utilize data analysis techniques to support traders on the risk management of trading book exposure, to develop strategies and to analyze PnL impact o Conduct Analysis for desk related to risk taking, turnover, market making efficiency etc. o Ad-hoc data analysis projects that deliver actionable insights to the desk o Leverage in-house pricing tools to create custom analytics and commentaries on market parameters o Involvement in trade analysis - historical backtesting, scenario analysis, MTM sensitivity etc. What we\'re looking for: o Demonstrated ability in Python programming knowledge o Mathematics or, engineering-based degree o Strong knowledge of Data analysis libraries numpy, Pandas, Scipy, SKlearn o Experience with graphing and web development frameworks like matplotlib, plotly, Dash, Streamlit o Good coding skills with understanding of databases and hands on with SQL o Excellent communication skills (oral/written) o Ability to prioritize and manage large projects and take full ownership of assigned tasks o Attention to detail and Aptitude for self-learning - Should be able to demonstrate a self-starting attitude Skills that will help you in the role: o Certifications - CFA or, FRM o Exposure to interest rate products Where will you be working Mumbai Be More at Barclays At Barclays, each day is about being more - as a professional, and as a person. \'Be More @ Barclays\' represents our core promise to all current and future employees.
