Machine Operator/labourer
Job Description
A machine operator's responsibilities include:
• Setting up and adjusting machines : Prepare machines for production runs by calibrating, cleaning, and performing other tasks
• Operating machinery : Operate machinery safely and efficiently to produce high-quality goods
• Monitoring machines : Monitor machines during operation to detect malfunctions or irregularities
• Performing maintenance : Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs to keep machinery in optimal condition
• Inspecting parts : Inspect parts with precision using measuring tools
• Checking output : Check output to spot any machine-related mistakes or flaws
• Keeping records : Keep records of approved and defective units or final products
• Maintaining activity logs : Maintain activity logs
• Following safety protocols : Abide by all safety protocols and guidelines to avoid accidents and injuries
• Maintaining a safe work environment : Keep a tidy and safe work environment in accordance with company policies and regulations
