Our R&D center in Pune is crucial to our growth and innovation strategy, and our distribution subsidiaries in the APAC region are key to our market expansion.Job Purpose:The Machine Learning Engineer will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and deploying machine learning models and systems. With 5-10 years of experience in the field, the ideal candidate will have a strong background in machine learning, data science, and software engineering. This role demands expertise in building scalable ML solutions, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and driving the integration of advanced algorithms into real-world applications.Location: Pune, IndiaKey Responsibilities:Model Development and Deployment:

• Design, develop, and implement machine learning models and algorithms to solve complex business problems.
• Optimize and scale models for performance and efficiency in production environments.
• Deploy machine learning models into production systems, ensuring robustness and reliability.

Data Handling and Analysis:

• Analyze large datasets to extract meaningful insights and drive data-driven decision-making.
• Implement data preprocessing, feature engineering, and data augmentation techniques to enhance model performance.
• Collaborate with data engineers to ensure the availability and quality of data pipelines.

Collaboration and Communication:

• Work closely with product managers, data scientists, and software engineers to understand project requirements and deliver innovative solutions.
• Communicate complex technical concepts and results to non-technical stakeholders effectively.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members and contribute to team knowledge sharing.

Research and Innovation:

• Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in machine learning and artificial intelligence.
• Explore and evaluate new tools, frameworks, and methodologies to improve existing systems.
• Contribute to the development of best practices and standards for machine learning within the organization.

Performance Monitoring and Improvement:

• Monitor and evaluate the performance of machine learning models in production.
• Identify and troubleshoot issues, and implement improvements to enhance model accuracy and efficiency.
• Conduct experiments and A/B testing to validate model performance and make data-driven adjustments.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field. PhD is a plus.
• Experience: 5-10 years of experience as a Machine Learning Engineer or in a similar role, with a strong portfolio of successful machine learning projects.

• Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++.
• Experience with machine learning frameworks and libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn).
• Strong understanding of algorithms, data structures, and statistical methods.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) and ML deployment tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development practices.
• Soft Skills:

• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information to diverse audiences.
• Proven ability to work in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
