This role involves ensuring the security, compliance, and efficient operation of all M365 services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, and other related applications.Your key responsibilities

  • Oversee the M365 tenant, including user and license management, service configuration, and tenant-level settings.
  • Implement and maintain security measures and compliance policies across the M365 environment.
  • Monitor the health and performance of M365 services and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
  • Collaborate with IT and security teams to develop and enforce governance policies for data retention, eDiscovery, and data loss prevention.
  • Manage the deployment of M365 updates and patches, ensuring minimal disruption to users.
  • Provide end-user support and training for M365 applications and services.
  • Coordinate with external vendors and Microsoft support for escalated issues.
  • Maintain documentation for system configurations, procedures, and service records.
  • Stay current with new M365 features and capabilities and recommend improvements to enhance productivity and collaboration.

  • Technical Expertise: Deep understanding of Microsoft 365 services and architecture, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive for Business, and related security and compliance features.

To qualify for the role, you must have
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience administering Microsoft 365 environments.
  • Strong understanding of M365 services and their integration with on-premises and cloud environments.
  • Knowledge of PowerShell scripting for automation and administration tasks.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical users.
  • Relevant Microsoft certifications:
  • Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert) are preferred.
  • Microsoft 365 Certified: Modern Workplace Administrator Associate
  • Microsoft 365 Certified: Security Administrator Associate
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals
