In Industry and Energy section, you will join a team of skilled experts who specialize in electrical concepts and sustainable energy solutions. We provide consultancy to our customers on the planning, design, and optimization of offshore wind farms, substations, Power to X, and Carbon capture projects. We are part of Energy International, consisting of 200 enthusiastic colleagues working across India, Denmark, Germany, Norway, South Korea, and Taiwan, while collaborating closely with colleagues in the United Kingdom and North America. In this position as LV/MV Electrical Design Engineer, you will join our global team of experts and work closely with the Head of the Section.
In this role, your main responsibilities will be to:
Work in close collaboration with skilled designers to create an optimal electrical design
Participate in the development and review of equipment data sheets, technical specifications, engineering calculations, and reports.
Prepare single-line diagrams, cable schedules, load lists, D.B. schedules, HAC schedules, MTOs.
Involve in-depth calculations for voltage drops on cables; Earthing and bonding design; Lighting design and load flow analysis; Routing of HV inter-array cables.
Be involved in inter-departmental coordination and communication with colleagues in India and Europe.

Moreover, you must:
Hold a bachelor\'s degree in electrical engineering with 5-8 years of experience
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with experience in international projects.
Be familiar with the main subject areas within electrical (LV, MV, and HV systems).
Have experience in Earthing, lightning lighting design cable routing, and equipotential bonding. for industrial units.
Have experience in working on projects involving Hazardous environments.
Be conversant with IEC, IEEE, NEMA, NFPA, and API standards.
Have Instrumentation knowledge in reading P&IDs and interconnecting diagrams.
Be proficient in all Microsoft Office tools MS Excel, MS Word, and PPT.
Be expected to be a role model for work ethics and the quality of the work delivered.
Good to have:
Experience in offshore projects; offshore substations, offshore wind farms, and offshore oil and gas facilities.
Knowledge of Impressed Current Cathodic Protection (ICCP)
Basic skills in project management (multi-discipline), so as to be responsible for timelines, quality, and cost for LV design.
