:
- Develop a public relations plan including strategy, goals, budget and tactics.
- Develop media relations strategy, seeking high-level placements in print, broadcast and online media.
- Work on the annual PR & Communication plan focusing on responsible area.
- Coordinate all public relations activities.
- Develop story narratives and pitch the same to the media.
- Leverage existing media relationships and develop relationships with media at local, regional and national levels.
- Manage media inquiries and interview requests.
- Create content for press releases, articles and keynote presentations.
- Monitor, analyze and communicate PR results on a quarterly basis.
- Evaluate opportunities for awards, partnerships, sponsorships, speakership on an on-going basis.
- Organize promotional events, press conferences, senior management interviews and visits.
- Conceive and create precise, persuasive content for various speeches, events etc.
- Build relationships with thought leaders to grow industry awareness.
- Maintain a keen understanding of industry trends affecting brand and make appropriate recommendations regarding communication strategy surrounding them.
- Anticipate crisis situations and mitigate the same.
- Promote and protect the brand and reputation through media relations.
Qualification and Skills required:
- PG Degree in PR, communications, journalism or similar relevant field
- A proven track record of successful PR campaigns, crisis communications.
- 5-6 years of previous working experience as Public Relations Specialist
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills (both written and verbal)
- Experience in engaging and building relationships across stakeholders
- Experience in Media crisis management
- Have good working relationship with the media
- PR agency experience will be a plus.
