PCV-Logistics in India caters to a variety of mining industries like Iron Ore, Steel, Alumina, Lead Zinc to name a few.Your responsibilities

  • Shipping Management: Manage the transportation of engineering spares, parts, and small project shipments. Possess expertise in sizing and load planning for shipping activities.
  • Compliance Assurance: Ensure that project shipping activities adhere to statutory requirements such as VGM, road permits, dangerous goods regulations, and escorting requirements.
  • Freight Negotiation: Conduct negotiations with freight forwarders to secure optimal shipping rates and terms.
  • Customer Support: Assist customers with the importation of shipments at destination points, providing necessary guidance and documentation support.
  • Documentation Handling: Manage all documentation related to pre and post shipments, including the preparation of invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, and legalization documents, as well as responding to customer letters.
  • Supplier Coordination: Liaise with warehouses and suppliers to coordinate packing and transport activities.
  • Letter of Credit (LC) Management: Verify customer LCs and prepare required documents according to LC specifications, managing LC shipments efficiently.
  • Stakeholder Coordination: Collaborate with internal stakeholders such as warehouse teams, procurement, expeditors, and sales departments to ensure seamless order execution and shipment processes.
  • Delivery Monitoring: Monitor and ensure on-time delivery to customers, optimizing cost savings through compliance with global category initiatives.
  • MIS Reporting: Support the generation of Management Information System (MIS) reports to track and analyse logistics performance metrics.
  • Customs Expertise: Independently handle domestic customs issues for both import and export shipment.
Requirements:Experience: Minimum of 4 to 5 years of relevant experience in logistics management, with a strong understanding of shipping documentation and logistics regulations.Educational Qualification: Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree from a reputable university.Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Excel and Word is essential. Knowledge of ERP systems will be considered an added advantage.What you bring
